Like the digital version of kids passing notes in class

Gartner recently pointed to hyperconnectedness, swarming, and spontaneity as three changes the world of work will witness during the next ten years. We'd say Fast Society reinforces these predictions.

Fast Society's ability to establish a group's expiration date is a major advantage. Think about it. Groups are fluid things, with members coming and going according to the situation. You may want to connect with 12 people at a concert, or a bachelor party or convention, but after the event, who really wants to receive daily missives from the group member with sharing issues?

Fast Society is really meant for temporary conversations, so the teams that you create expire.

The first thing we noticed while testing the app was how easy to use it is.

Fast Society is certainly great for social gatherings (as it was intended), but it is absolutely BRILLIANT as an organization and communication tool for business teams traveling together at conferences.

I don't typically write about specific products, much less review them, so the fact that I'm doing so now should clue you into the fact of just how impactful I believe this app is going to be.

Fast Society takes the group texting experience to the next level with conference calling as well as geolocation.

Fast Society is a group messaging, calling, and geo-location tool that helps you stay in touch with groups of friends temporarily while attending concerts, heading out on the town, or at other events.

Fast Society is emerging, um, fast as the category leader.

The financial crisis is squeezing many Americans' budgets. In an expensive city, like New York, that is especially true. Trend-spotting experts say being frugal is suddenly cool - even in Manhattan.

Every year companies spend billions of dollars on market research trying to determine what makes you tick. Now, a new startup says you don't need a focus group to find out what's in -- all you need is a computer and a good pitch.

The guys behind social trendcasting site Edopter want to know how, exactly, something becomes popular, but they need you to do it. Can they build the Wikipedia of trends? Do we want them to?

There is a lot to like about Edopter...

The potential for a solid business model here is huge. If it were to take off, they would have access to a very hard to reach demographic - early adopters...

A well-developed and fancy service that uses the wisdom of crowds in a trendy way...

Edopter is a win-win for both consumers and marketers...

Sounds like the latest new craze - very possibly. For more thoughts on what will be getting the world talking, point your browser at edopter.com...
